The bulk of Cold Lake Victim Services Society's funding comes from the Victim Services Fund through Alberta's Solictor General. In October, 2008 a cheque was presented on behalf of the Attorney General from Genia Leskiw (Bonnyville/Cold Lake MLA).
From left are Sgt. Keith Bott, RCMP liaison officer; Deborah Wilcocks, CLVS board member; Genia Leskiw; Ajaz Quraishi, CLVS board chair; Craig Copeland, Mayor of the City of Cold Lake; Dave Zimmerman, CLVS program coordinator.

Municipal contributions are integral to the daily operation of the Cold Lake Victim Services Society. Recognizing the importance the CLVS plays in the greater municipal region, the MD of Bonnyville's $3,000 donation in November, 2008 was earmarked for general administrative and programming costs. With Quraishi and Zimmerman from left are MD Reeve Ed Rondeau; MD councillors Don Sinclair, Delano Tolley, Barry Kalinski and Andy Wakaruk.

Make a contribution
Although our programs may be eligible for some funding through provincial resources, we rely heavily on local community support.
You can help us continue our work in the community by making a financial donation, becoming a corporate sponsor, or donating goods and/or services. We are always in need of donations in kind - including;

  • Donations of items for volunteer appreciation
  • Donations of items to underwrite the costs of running an office - such as computer equipment, pagers, wireless phones, office supplies, vehicles, and accounting services.
